A total of 3,145 years or around one million days in the service of the company – this impressive feat was achieved by 127 MAPAL employees in Aalen. At the anniversary celebration at the end of November 2019, representatives from the company and the city of Aalen honoured the employees in a celebratory setting. President of the MAPAL Group, Dr Jochen Kress, and the Chairman of the Works Council, Frank Khöber, praised the loyalty, the company allegiance and the dedicated work of those celebrating their anniversary. 51 of the 127 people celebrating their anniversary had even actually completed their training at MAPAL and have remained loyal to the company ever since. 65 employees celebrated their tenth or 25th anniversary and 54 have remained loyal to MAPAL for 30 or 35 years. And seven of those celebrating can even look back on 40 years of service to the company. Wolfgang Steidle, the Lord Mayor of the city of Aalen, presented them with honorary certificates from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the State of Baden-Württemberg, signed by the state’s Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann. With a special applause the participants of the anniversary celebration honoured Dr Dieter Kress, father of Dr Jochen Kress and former president of the company. Because he was also celebrating an anniversary. Dieter Kress has been actively committed to the company in leading positions for 50 years now, of which he was the president for more than two decades.
